Thilde

Thilde is a Sweedish company started by Pia Eriksson...and she is a designer I admire as she has friendly designs using great fabrics and colors that both children and adults are drawn to. The colors are bold on her blankets, rugs and crib pockets and lend themselves to be an educational tool as well.

Most of Thilde products, such as the Shorty Doll shown above, feature laundry care labels which all children love to chew on and manipulate with their growing hands and fine motor skills. And all are made specifically to stimulate a child's curiosity, perception of touch and motor skills.

In addition to the tagged items, Pia has created The Thilde Pocket which is perfect for attaching (with velcro) to your child's crib to keep extra pacifiers, lovies and other small activities for your child to stay entertained...for you to sneak in a few extra minutes of sleep in the morning!
