There are many, many times when I need to call 411 to get a phone number for an address I just can't see to find or for store hours when I'm out running errands...and I'm always less than thrilled to pay my cell phone provider's fee.But I just learned of a service that provides this information for free: 800-FREE-411. The catch is that you have to listen to a 20-second ad before receiving your number. But I've found I can spare the 20 seconds to save up to $1.79...that's a cup of much needed coffee, after all!
