Halsea

I'm a big fan of two things when it comes to bags and luggage: that they are multi-purpose and that they fool people into thinking I'm put together. Halsea bags provide both of these necessities.

Sally Bartz is the talented designer behind the bags who, prior to beginning her own company, designed for surf apparel giants such as Roxy, Paul Frank and Volcom. Sally says of her vision for her collections, "I'd like for someone to see a Halsea item, and wonder if it was a hand-me-down from mom's groovier days, or if it's something new and special." And as you can see from the small sample of her work here that she has certainly accomplished that!

Sally and I were discussing her bag styles and agreed that her cosmetic bag is the perfect toddler tote for diaper necessities or a snack and those Matchbox cars your child can't leave home without, while her tote bags are easily transformed into a full-fledged diaper bag made of wipe-clean laminated fabric and full of pockets.

Visit halsea.com to view her four amazing collections.
