Brite Star Wireless LED Candles

Driving around and looking at Christmas lights has always been one of my favorite December activities. I've always thought that houses with candles in each window look so elegant, simple and classic. I remember the first year my parents purchased candles for each window and plugged them in and then unplugged them all each evening. Although it sure was pretty, it was an awful lot of work during such a joyous time of year.

I was more than thrilled when my mom told me about Brite Star Wireless LED Candles this year. I found them at my local Walgreens and am proud to say that I bought out the store. Sorry for any of my friends reading this...you'll have to go a town over to find them! Every single window of our house is now equipped with a single candle. Fill them with two AA rechargeable batteries and you have a stylish classicly lit holiday house! One that requires no energy and is eco-friendly year after year!

But wait, there's more! Now for the best part! The first time you turn the candle lights on, it triggers a program inside that enables the candle to stay lit for 8 hours, and then turn off for 16 hours. The next day, the candle will automatically light at the same time as the day before, stay lit for another 8 hours, and then turn off for 16. The next day...you get the idea! What a great time-saving decoration! And the packages says that a typical battery will last 90 days in this cycle. That would take you into February if you wanted.

As I mentioned, I found Brite Star Wireless LED Candles at my local Walgreens, but they're also available online at Amazon.com where they're on sale for $18.95 for a package of 6 candles.

  1. I just bought these today, but I was terribly disappointed when I discovered how dim they are. I can barely even see them from the road.
I'm not sure if this is because they are LED lights or because they are orange lights. Has anyone out there tried using white LED lights with these candles? If so, are they much brighter?

  2. Joseph, mine actually came with white lights in them...not sure why there would be different color bulbs in different packages. But mine are bright and I can see them from down the road so I'd switch to white if I were you. Sorry for your disappointment! Let me know if you change them...and if it was difficult or not too bad. Thanks for reading!

  3. I also am disappointed. Mine came with the white led lights and two are very dim and the other did not work. I will return them.
