My children and I read over a hundred books a week, but The Tale of Three Trees is our favorite! This simple tale of three trees is beautiful and truth be told I cried the first time I read it.
Each of these brave trees thought they needed to abandon their dreams as they were made into a lowly feed trough, a simple fishing boat covered in dead, smelly fish, and scrap lumber (who felt cruel as a man's hands were nailed to her and carried her through a jeering crowd).
In the end they realize God's love had changed everything, made each of them more beautiful than they could have imagined in their wildest dreams...the ones they thought they had given up on.
