I bought my children little mailboxes a month ago to put little notes and trinkets in. They sit in our kitchen and every once in a while my son will notice the flags up on their boxes and they'll run to see what's inside.
The ones pictured here are from Pottery Barn Kids, but I've seen them at the front of Target stores for $1.00 and at craft stores ready for personalizing. Or you could make a whole art project out of it and make one from a shoe box or even two paper plates put together.
Once you've found the perfect spot for your mailbox, it's ready to be filled with special snacks, love notes, cars, small stuffed animals, and anything else special to you and your children. However your children come by their mailboxes, they are sure to love receiving goodies from you!
