Another Ugga Mugga Baby

Yesterday I was reminded of a Walt Whitman quote I've loved for years:

"Happiness...
not in another place, in this place
not for another hour, in this hour..."

That about sums up my giving birth yesterday morning to my daughter Hazel...and later on witnessing my son August and daughter Martha meet their baby sister...and seeing my three children together for the first time.

My husband and I were truly happy in that place...in that hour.
