Milwaukee's Mother of the Year

Ugga Mugga, despite now being read in over 100 countries, started via word of mouth from some wonderful friends and family in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. And so I wanted to let all of you local readers know about a wonderful contest being held for Mother of the Year!

The contest has been put together with the help of my friend Deanna Inniss, owner of the amazing Freckle Face boutique in the Third Ward (a link to her online store has been on Ugga Mugga since day one for those of you unfortunate people not able to visit her lovely space in person). She has gotten together with a few of my favorite shop's owners to create the contest and reward one lucky mother. Deanna says of the inspiration behind the contest, "We wanted to recognize the wonderful, deserving moms we see coming into our businesses throughout the year." What a lovely thought!

Up for grabs is a prize package valued at over $1,000. Included is a $150 gift certificate to the Home Market, a Freckle Face gift package tailored to mom, a personalized Mother’s necklace featuring childrens’ names and birthstones from JuJu Gifts, Accessories & Décor, a $150 Neroli Salon & Spa gift card, a new outfit from Stephanie Horne and new shoes from Shoo all to wear to a free dinner for 2 at the chef’s table at Hinterland Gastropub! All I can say is WOW!

There are also prizes for the first runner-up (a $100 gift card for the Milwaukee Public Market to be used on groceries, lunch, flowers, or even a cooking class) and the second runner‐up (a $100 gift card from The Institute of Beauty and Wellness).
