Sorry for yet another baby snack idea this week, but I've been giving Hazel more snacks since she's teething up a storm (not to mention breakfasts are rushed with getting August to school and it's nice for Hazel to eat something on the walk each day). So snacks are on my mind and I figure there's a good chance they may be on yours too!

One of Hazel's very favorite things are Mum-Mum rice rusks from Hot Kid. There are two in a package and 12 packages in a box. They're easy to transport, and apparently, delicious to eat! When Hazel hears someone say Mum-Mum, her feet start shaking and her mouth starts smacking! I can't think of a better endorsement than that! And the sound her two little teeth make when they hit the rusk is one of my husband's and my most cherished sounds since we know they make Hazel so happy!

Her favorite flavor is the vegetable where the ingredients read: Rice, Sugar, Seasoning, (Potato Starch, Pumpkin Powder, Carrot Powder, Spinach Powder, Cabbage Powder, Salt), Skim Milk Powder. And although sugar is listed as the second ingredient, there is only 0.5g in a two-rusk serving. The other kind we always have on hard are the Organic Original, which feels more appropriate for Hazel to eat after finishing her rushed breakfast Mondays through Fridays.

Toddler rice biscuits and baby rice rusk Mum-Mums are available at amazon.com where they receive FREE 2-day SHIPPING (no minimum order necessary). Prices start at $14.77 for six boxes of 24 rusks.
